Barcelona Chairs for Sale

The Barcelona chair began it's life back in 1929 when the designer Mies van der Rohe was commissioned to build the Barcelona Pavilion for the World Arts Fair, also referred to as the Barcelona World Exposition.

The Pavilion was to be bare, with no exhibits, just a solitary sculpture and the now famous chairs that Mies van der Rohe designed at the same time, the Barcelona chair.

It is said that when the King of Spain and his Queen attended the Pavilion, the Barcelona chairs were used as their thrones, so it's no wonder they have such appeal.

We have chosen our range of Barcelona chairs very carefully, and are proud to offer to price points, both representing excellent value for money, and both are wonderful reproductions of the original chair.

The Premier Barcelona Chair is finished in a faux leather that is so realistic that our in house surveys revealed that it was often chosen above real leather as a preferred finish.  The Premier has a 15mm highly polished frame, and looks stunning.

The next chair in the range is the Platinum Barcelona Chair, which is an outstanding and faithful reproduction of the original, finished in fine, soft and supple aniline leather and sat on a top of the range 12mm highly polished stainless steel frame. The cushions are hand stitched, and the result is a truly super piece of furniture.

The introductory price for the Platinum Barcelona chair is just £297.50 + VAT

We also have the Pony Barcelona Chair, finished as the name suggests in Pony Skin!  This is a really different look for the chair, and although more expensive, it does look worth every penny.  The Pony chair is also on a 12mm highly polished stainless steel frame and is finished by hand, with careful stitching at the factory.

DELIVERY: The price does not include delivery.  Delivery within the M25, including London, West End and East End is £29.00 per order, for as many as you want to buy. 

 Delivery by courier to a business address, mainland UK £20 per chair (minimum 2 chairs). 

You are welcome to collect from our Waltham Abbey warehouses.
